Venice-native Lehar, who is the latest addition to the Diynamic artist roster, serves his first full EP on his new home stable. The three tracker is called 'Magical Realism EP' and its name gives you a pretty exact outlook on what to expect sound wise. Up first is the title track 'Magical Realism', a spherical hybrid between house and electronica, which sets the groundwork for the mood of the EP. A rich and organic sound composition, which builds up naturally on its way, without amassing any unnecessary razzle-dazzle. Otherworldly vocal details wrap the track in a mystical fog. Track two is called 'Fantasia' and its analogue touch reminds you of a Jean Michelle Jarre piece. The hypnotizing sound lingers and slowly drags you deeper and deeper under its spell. And just before your mind drifts into oblivion, cue 'Bianca Dreams' - the final track. A fierce piece of deep house music with hard claps and a driving bass line, that picks up where tracks one and two started, combines those emotions and drags them onto a peak time dancefloor.
